My name is James Baseley and have been involved in the LIVE Touring industry since 1991. Firstly working as a sound technician for a PA company that at the time was heavily involved in the then burgeoning Rave scene. Then as a Sound Engineer and Head of Department for a Technical services company facilitating the Conference and Event industry. I began mixing FOH for bands in 1992 and then moved over to Monitors in the mid 90’s. At the end of the nineties I began to specialise in Midi and playback systems getting a good grounding in all aspects of show technology. I continued this path through into the new millennium with extensive worldwide touring and was assigned my first Production Management role in 2004. I believe my strength lies in my experience of working as part of the team during my formative years with an appreciation for both crew and artist needs.
I have maintained a constant interest in emerging show technologies and have been heavily involved in the design process of recent International Tours.

In addition to the above I have strong belief in the welfare of all persons on each Tour, both Artist and crew. I am more than happy when required to receive instructions and make suggestions with regards to best working practice, health and safety, artist and crew mental welfare and dietary and fitness needs.
